Four Wounded Servicemen Outside a Ward, 71st Evacuation Hospital, Pleiku, South Vietnam, January 1970 (Watermarked Copy)
Four wounded American servicemen photographed on the lawn outside a ward at the 71st Evacuation Hospital, Pleiku, South Vietnam, in January 1970. Collection annotation identifies the man in the dark blue robe at left as Edward Blyth and the man seated at centre as Franklin D. 'Doug' Miller of MACV-SOG, photographed after the January 1970 reconnaissance mission for which Miller received the Medal of Honor; the two others are unidentified. All wear Army convalescent robes and pajamas in place of uniforms, and each carries a visible dressing - a bandaged hand, a wrapped forearm, a chest and shoulder dressing, a taped knee. Reproduced here as a watermarked reference copy from the Blyth collection. Project: 219838
