Portrait of Edward L. Blyth, MACV-SOG, Vietnam War Era (Watermarked Enlargement)
Edward L. Blyth, photographed in the field during the Vietnam War. A cloth headband replaces the standard hat and his fatigue jacket carries no rank, name tape or unit insignia - the deliberately sterile appearance adopted by personnel of the Military Assistance Command, Vietnam Studies and Observations Group (MACV-SOG) for cross-border reconnaissance missions into Laos and Cambodia. This heavily enlarged, coarse-grained image is a cropped detail from a larger group photograph, reproduced here as a watermarked reference copy from the Blyth collection. Project: 219838
