The Snapshots in Time Collection
Gallery: Part 11
Official strike-camera photographs from the 312th Bomb Group document low-level attacks on Bangued, Pattao, and other Luzon towns during the 1945 liberation of the Philippines. Parafrag bombs in mid-fall, aircraft shadows on the ground, and annotated damage-assessment frames preserved in squadron scrapbooks show how each mission was recorded and analyzed.
