The opening page of Appendix C from a published history of MACV-SOG reconnaissance, introducing the wartime briefing notebook of Captain Vaughn Bobby Ross. Ross flew UH-1 Hueys with the 57th Assault Helicopter Company, the unit that provided air support to Command and Control Central, and recorded the details of each SOG mission he was assigned to fly. His entries run from late 1969 into early 1970. The accompanying photograph shows Ross in Army tropical combat uniform beside his aircraft. Project: 219835
