A deep volcanic canyon of red oxidized rock and green scrub, seen from a cliff-edge overlook with a stream visible far below and rain haze closing off the upper valley. Though filed with Vietnam-era material, the geology and vegetation identify this as a Hawaiian landscape, most probably Waimea Canyon on Kauai.
