Catamaran Anchored off a Tree-Lined Beach Below a Steep Coastal Ridge, Probably Hawaii, Date Unknown
A small catamaran rides at anchor in a sheltered bay, backed by a sand beach, an ironwood windbreak and a steeply eroded coastal ridge. Although filed among Vietnam-era material, the terrain and vegetation point to a Hawaiian shoreline rather than Southeast Asia, and the frame most likely records leave or a transit stop rather than service in country. Underexposed and blue-shifted with age, it is typical of the casual travel photographs found alongside operational imagery in veterans' slide collections. Project: 219827
