The nearer, pale gray machine matches the OV-10A Bronco forward air control aircraft photographed clearly elsewhere in this sequence; the darker, camouflaged shape behind it is consistent with a Douglas A-1 Skyraider. A tan camouflaged wingtip in the corner belongs to the photographing aircraft. FAC and Skyraider operating together was the standard arrangement for search-and-rescue and cross-border support missions in Southeast Asia.
