A-1 Skyraider "Wiley Coyote" Engine Start with Tennessee Museum of Aviation Ground Crew, May 2019
A restored A-1 Skyraider, nicknamed "Wiley Coyote," fires up its engine as a Tennessee Museum of Aviation ground crewman signals the pilot during a 2019 flight demonstration event. Painted in authentic Vietnam-era camouflage, the Skyraider represents the rugged propeller-driven attack aircraft flown by USAF Air Commando "Sandy" pilots to protect downed airmen and support ground troops throughout the war.
