Rows of Destroyed Building Foundations at Camp John Hay, Baguio, Philippines
Rows of stone foundations mark where a line of cottages or quarters once stood at Camp John Hay before being destroyed during World War II. The U.S. Army's mountain rest camp near Baguio suffered heavy damage from Japanese bombing in December 1941 and years of subsequent occupation and fighting, leaving only building footings and a lone chimney standing.
