The Snapshots in Time Collection
Gallery: Part 1
Photographs preserved by a veteran of the China-Burma-India Theater bring together fighter and transport aircraft, wrecked planes on remote airstrips, jeep encampments, and airmen briefing over maps in a tent. Together with a Distinguished Flying Cross citation and handwritten album cards, they document the hazards and daily routines of an often-overlooked WWII theater.
