A visitor braces on the open canopy rails while climbing from the cockpit of a restored Douglas A-1 Skyraider. Rugged and heavily armed, the Skyraider served as a mainstay of close air support and search-and-rescue escort for the Vietnamese Air Force and U.S. Air Force throughout the Vietnam War.
