A visitor examines the cockpit of a restored Douglas A-1 Skyraider, the rugged single-seat attack aircraft flown by Vietnamese Air Force and U.S. Air Force pilots during the Vietnam War. Stenciled crew names and Southeast Asia camouflage recall the aircraft's combat service; today such surviving Skyraiders are preserved and flown at veteran reunions and airshows in honor of the pilots who flew them.
