Within this collection the orange suit is linked to the SPADS — the Douglas A-1 Skyraider community of the 56th Special Operations Wing, whose propeller-driven aircraft flew close air support for MACV-SOG reconnaissance teams operating across the borders of Laos and Cambodia.
