The A-1 Skyraider display at the 2013 Special Operations Association Reunion. The 'SPADS for MACVSOG' banner commemorates the Douglas A-1 crews of the 56th Special Operations Wing at Nakhon Phanom, Thailand, whose close air support and rescue escort sustained MACV-SOG reconnaissance teams operating across the Laotian and Cambodian borders. Hanging beside it are two flight suits from the period, one in orange bearing squadron patches, the other in black carrying the 'Zorro' emblem of the 22nd Special Operations Squadron with the owner's name tape still attached.
