The conclusion of the fini-flight ritual: a pilot, drenched from the fire hose soaking recorded in adjacent frames, laughs as a fellow airman reaches in to open a bottle of champagne with him. Both wear one-piece flight suits; the pilot's is soaked black. Behind them a Douglas A-1 Skyraider stands on the apron with two men working on its wing, and a stack of planking at right carries the hardstand placard SPOT 6, the same marker visible in a dusk exposure from this collection and firm evidence that the frames record one location and occasion.
