Taken during a June 2013 research trip to Texas, this photograph shows veterans and researchers (identified in the collection as Ed, Bob, and Dean) reviewing notes and documents in a hotel room as part of an ongoing effort to document the history and personnel of the A-1 Skyraider, a piston-engine attack aircraft flown extensively by U.S. Air Force pilots, including Air Commando and 'Sandy' rescue-escort crews, during the Vietnam War.
