This slideshow features a August 1970 Letter of Commendation praising A-1 Skyraider pilots 1st Lt Thomas K. Stump and Capt Edwin A. Gullion for strafing within five meters of a surrounded reconnaissance team under intense fire. It also includes the closing page of a commendation letter signed by Lt. Col. Edward P. Cullivan, with a handwritten 2013 note reflecting on the pride felt by veterans of the Danang-based unit it honored.
