A fully armed A-1 Skyraider banks through the sky, its underwing pylons loaded with rockets, bombs, and fuel or napalm tanks, and its cowling adorned with a fierce shark-mouth design. Renowned for its ability to carry an enormous and varied ordnance load, the Skyraider was the workhorse of close air support and 'Sandy' rescue escort missions throughout the Vietnam War.
