Two A-1 Skyraiders sit wing-to-wing with their wings folded, a configuration once used to save deck space aboard aircraft carriers. Photographed at a commemorative gathering honoring Operation Tailwind, the 1970 covert incursion into Laos in which Skyraiders provided close air support for MACV-SOG ground forces, these preserved aircraft keep alive the memory of the pilots and units who flew them.
