First Lt. James F. Seith taxis his shark-mouthed A-1 Skyraider along the flight line at Da Nang Air Base, decked out in a vintage leather flying helmet and goggles. The nose art and old-fashioned gear were a good-humored nod to the propeller-driven Skyraider's WWII-era lineage, aimed at the base's F-4 Phantom pilots.
