A P-51 Mustang and a Douglas A-1 Skyraider share the ramp outside the museum hangar during an air show open house. The Skyraider's folded wings, a feature originally designed for carrier storage, allowed compact parking -- a detail visitors can appreciate up close as they tour these preserved aircraft from two different eras of American airpower.
