Skyraiders flew countless close air support and search-and-rescue escort missions, often protecting downed airmen and covert reconnaissance teams operating deep in enemy territory. This restored example, marked 'TC 665' and finished in period Southeast Asia camouflage, is shown with its outer wing panel raised in the folded position originally designed for carrier storage — a visible reminder of the aircraft's naval origins before its long Air Force service in Southeast Asia.
