A restored Douglas A-1 Skyraider, marked 'AMERICA' and coded 'TC,' taxis for takeoff during the June 7, 2014 air show at the Lloyd, Tennessee Air Museum. The Skyraider served with distinction as a close air support and 'Sandy' rescue escort aircraft during the Vietnam War, and surviving examples like this one continue to fly at museum and warbird events today.
