Twin T-28 Trojan Trainers Flying Inverted with Smoke Trails — Lloyd TN Air Museum Air Show, June 7, 2014
Two T-28 Trojan trainers roll inverted in tight formation, trailing smoke for the crowd below. Developed as a primary trainer for both the Air Force and Navy, the T-28 taught generations of American aviators to fly before many went on to combat aircraft like the A-1 Skyraider. Restored examples like these keep the type's aerobatic performance alive at airshows across the country. Project: 219310
