T-28 Trojan Trainer Banking Through Clouds, Air Show Display
A North American T-28 Trojan, marked with U.S. Navy livery, banks through the clouds during an air show flying display. Originally designed as a primary and advanced pilot trainer for the Navy and Air Force, the rugged T-28 was later modified into the T-28D "Nomad" for counter-insurgency and light attack missions, flown by U.S. Air Commando advisors and South Vietnamese Air Force pilots in the early years of the Vietnam War.
