Two North American T-28 Trojans, one in U.S. Air Force and one in U.S. Navy training markings, perform a smoke-trailing formation pass. The T-28 served as the primary advanced trainer for both services from the mid-1950s, and later saw combat service in Southeast Asia in counterinsurgency and forward air control roles.
