Restored P-51D Mustang "Ain't Misbehavin'" (N51KB, Tail 415267) on Display Ramp, Lloyd TN Air Museum Air Show
This meticulously restored North American P-51D Mustang, marked as "Ain't Misbehavin'" and dedicated to Capt. Jesse Frey, represents one of the most celebrated American fighter aircraft of World War II. Registered N51KB and displaying tail number 415267, this bare-metal example carries the distinctive black-and-white invasion stripes applied to Allied aircraft for the D-Day landings and subsequent operations, along with a red-and-yellow checkerboard nose scheme. Photographed on static display at a civilian air show, the aircraft continues to honor the legacy of the pilots and ground crews who flew and maintained the Mustang during its wartime service escorting heavy bombers deep into enemy territory.
