North American T-28 Trojan Trainer on Display, Museum of Aviation

A North American T-28 Trojan, painted in U.S. Navy training colors, sits on display outside the Museum of Aviation. Originally designed as a primary trainer, the T-28 was later armed and flown extensively in Southeast Asia, including by the Republic of Vietnam Air Force and U.S. Air Commando squadrons, in the close air support and forward air control roles during the Vietnam War.
