Veterans Group Portrait with Douglas A-1 Skyraider, Tennessee Air Museum Air Show, June 2014
Veterans gather beneath the nose of a restored Douglas A-1 Skyraider during a visit to a Tennessee air museum's June 2014 air show. The Skyraider, nicknamed "Sandy" or "Spad," served as a close air support and search-and-rescue escort aircraft during the Vietnam War, flown by pilots of units such as the 56th Special Operations Wing based at Nakhon Phanom, Thailand.
