A restored A-1 Skyraider, tail code 'TC 665,' displays its folding wing mechanism on the ramp at an airshow. Originally designed for carrier operations, the Skyraider's wing-fold feature allowed more aircraft to be stowed aboard Navy carriers -- a feature retained even as the aircraft became a mainstay of Air Force close air support in Vietnam.
