Two vintage T-6/SNJ Texan trainers, the classic advanced trainer flown by U.S. Army Air Forces, Air Force, and Navy pilots from World War II through the Korean War era, perform a smoke-trailing formation pass at a Tennessee air show. Painted in their traditional high-visibility yellow training scheme, aircraft like these prepared thousands of pilots for combat duty and remain popular warbird preservation and airshow aircraft today.
