A beautifully restored Douglas A-1 Skyraider, affectionately nicknamed the 'Spad' by the pilots who flew it in Vietnam, taxis across the grass at a modern-day airshow. Skyraiders like this one flew close air support and Search and Rescue escort missions throughout the Vietnam War, and surviving examples are treasured today at veteran reunions and warbird gatherings.
