A-1 Skyraiders in Formation Over Southeast Asia, In-Flight Photograph
Two Douglas A-1 Skyraider attack aircraft, armed and in Southeast Asia camouflage, fly in formation above the clouds during the Vietnam War. The rugged, propeller-driven Skyraider served U.S. Air Force Air Commando and Vietnamese Air Force units in the close air support and search-and-rescue escort roles throughout the conflict.
