Two F-105 Thunderchiefs, tail-coded JE 458 and JE 093, cruise above the clouds during the Vietnam War. Nicknamed the "Thud," the F-105 bore the brunt of USAF strike missions over North Vietnam, and its two-seat Wild Weasel variants pioneered the dangerous work of hunting and suppressing enemy surface-to-air missile sites.
