Eleven men, most of them A-1 Skyraider pilots, photographed at an indoor gathering around March 1970. The tailored 'party suits' - made up by local tailors in Southeast Asia and loaded with squadron patches, wings and name tapes - were the off-duty uniform of a fighter or attack squadron. Legible tapes include J.W. WEINIG, LARRY, and what appears to be DON ENGEBRETSEN on the orange suit at center rear. The photograph is from Don Engebretsen's own slides, taken during his tour with the OLAA detachment at Da Nang, whose Skyraiders flew Spad close air support and Sandy rescue escort.
