Aerial Cockpit Photograph of a Cratered Jungle Trail, Southeast Asia
Photographed from the cockpit of an aircraft over Southeast Asia, this image shows a jungle trail pocked with bomb craters — visual evidence of persistent aerial interdiction against enemy supply routes during the Vietnam War. The photograph comes from the personal collection of Don Engebretsen, a U.S. Air Force A-1 Skyraider pilot who flew combat missions in the region. Project: 218965
