Southeast Asia, circa 1969-1970. Soaked to the skin after the traditional hosing-down, a Skyraider pilot accepts a handshake and a glass of champagne on completing his final combat mission. Behind him the loaded wing of an A-1 records what that mission looked like: bombs, dispensers and rocket pods hung on every station.
