An HH-3E 'Jolly Green Giant' rescue helicopter, fitted with its distinctive aerial refueling probe, flies in formation with another rescue helicopter over Southeast Asia. Jolly Green Giants worked hand-in-hand with A-1 Skyraider 'Sandy' escorts during the Vietnam War, extracting downed aircrew from hostile territory while the Skyraiders suppressed enemy ground fire below.
