Close details of a preserved Sikorsky CH-34 helicopter at the Tennessee Museum of Aviation, from its tail rotor assembly to a bullet hole still ringed with stress fractures in a cabin window. The CH-34 flew transport and search-and-rescue missions in the 1950s and 60s and into the early Vietnam War, including VNAF "Kingbee" variants that carried MACV-SOG reconnaissance teams in and out of hostile territory.
