An aerial postcard view of the flight line at NAS Corpus Christi shows dozens of yellow primary trainer aircraft, nicknamed 'Yellow Perils,' dispersed across the ramps. During WWII this base trained thousands of naval aviators, making it one of the largest and busiest flight training complexes in the country. Project: 218689
