This wood-frame chapel with its tall steeple served the spiritual needs of soldiers stationed at Fort Knox. Modeled after traditional small-town American church design, the chapel offered a familiar and comforting presence amid the rows of utilitarian barracks and training facilities on the sprawling Armor Center grounds.
