A dense coconut plantation lines the beach near Dagua airfield, New Guinea, in this Fifth Air Force reconnaissance photograph. Dagua was one of several Japanese airfields around Wewak that came under repeated attack from low-flying Allied bombers, including the 312th Bombardment Group, during 1943 and 1944. Project: 218561
