This wartime snapshot captures a line of U.S. Army tracked vehicles - a larger camouflage-draped tractor towing or leading a train of smaller Weasel-type cargo carriers - parked in a field during World War II. Vehicles like these supported bomb group operations on and off the flight line, hauling equipment and supplies across terrain unsuited to wheeled trucks.
