Three embroidered U.S. Army unit patches, carefully preserved in a WWII veteran's photo album from his service in Japan. Patches such as these, including insignia resembling X Corps and the 27th Infantry Division, were treasured mementos soldiers collected to commemorate the units they served with during the Pacific War and postwar occupation.
