The Airship Hindenburg (LZ 129) in Low-Altitude Flight Over a Crowd, Believed Nuremberg, Germany, 1936
The airship Hindenburg (LZ 129) passes low over a massive crowd, believed to be at the Nazi Party rally grounds in Nuremberg, Germany, circa 1936. At the time the world's largest flying craft, the Hindenburg was frequently used for propaganda overflights of major German cities and rally events before its destruction at Lakehurst, New Jersey, in May 1937.
