Municipal Hall Sign and Statue of Liberty Replica, San Narciso, Zambales, Philippines
This photograph shows the Municipal Hall of San Narciso, Zambales, in the Philippines, identified by its illuminated sign, along with a small replica of the Statue of Liberty positioned in front of the building. Such statues were common civic symbols in Philippine towns during the American colonial period and remained standing through the Japanese occupation and subsequent Allied liberation of the islands in 1944-1945.
