Gallery: VIETNAM 1965 3RD TACTICAL FIGHTER WING
Color slides taken in 1965 by airmen of the 3rd Tactical Fighter Wing look outward from the air base to a farmer with an ox cart, a Saigon-bound passenger bus, roadside billboards, and temples glimpsed on leave in Thailand. Faded and sometimes blurred, they capture the everyday Southeast Asia that surrounded the early American presence in Vietnam.
