Two pieces of Japanese wartime currency, denominated 5, feature imperial imagery and Bank of Japan markings. Notes such as these, often brought home by American servicemen as souvenirs, were common in the Pacific Theater and are preserved here as part of the Moon/Sammiet family wartime collection.
