Light Aircraft Parked at Fly-In Fishing and Hunting Camp Hangar
This photograph, from the personal collection of aviator Pat McAleer, captures a small charter aircraft at a remote air camp offering fly-in access to fishing and hunting grounds. Such operations were essential to opening up wilderness regions of North America to sportsmen in the mid-twentieth century, and reflect the broader civilian aviation interests of many military-trained pilots of the era.
