An unrotated frame captured from historic color combat film footage taken during WWII Pacific naval operations, part of the Francis R. Ferry collection associated with the sinking of the Japanese battleship Yamato in April 1945. Though degraded by age and film grain, the frame preserves a rare color glimpse of shipboard structure amid open ocean conditions during the closing months of the Pacific War. Project: 218238
